AVG and CV use up to 20 played games in the event’s season. Hit rates use this same sample and exclude pushes. Injuries and expected minutes are not verified. Click a row to inspect the evidence.
This board is a screening tool. It compares an offered line with a player’s past results; it does not estimate a reliable chance of winning.
The sample contains up to the last 20 played regular-season games before the event date, within that NBA season. Zero-minute games are excluded. The default filter asks for at least 10 games and 20 average minutes. Last 5 helps reveal role changes.
CV = sample standard deviation ÷ average. Lower CV means steadier production relative to its average. Gap / SD = (average − line) ÷ sample standard deviation for overs; the sign is reversed for unders. Large gaps merit investigation, not automatic bets.
Every offer preserves its book, exact line, side, and American odds. An over prefers a lower threshold; an under prefers a higher one, but the price matters too. The detail view shows the price’s break-even rate and the paired market’s no-vig share when available.
Opponent rank orders the stat recorded by opposing teams: 1 is fewest. The denominator is the number of teams with games played, up to 30. It uses team per-game totals, not pace-adjusted or position-specific defense. For turnovers, steals, and blocks, read the stat literally rather than treating a high rank as weak defense. It never changes the average or sorting gap.
Record the exact pregame line, price, time, and eventual result. Evaluate new rules on later dates that were not used to choose them. Track return after odds, calibration of any future probability model, and closing-line movement. Add projected minutes, injury status, rest, and pace before attempting a predictive model.
A past hit rate at today’s line is a descriptive statistic. It is not a backtested strategy or a calibrated forecast. The “with average” filter simply selects the side of the line on which the sample mean falls.
Odds come from The Odds API. Player game logs and team opponent totals come from NBA Stats. Each source refreshes independently; failed pulls retain the previous file and are marked below.
The PM2 configuration refreshes on startup and at 00:00, 04:00, 08:00, 12:00, 16:00, and 20:00 in the PM2 daemon’s timezone, normally your server’s timezone. A server using UTC avoids daylight-saving shifts. Your server must be running.
The board reloads its saved snapshot every five minutes while open. Reload data reads the latest saved snapshot; it does not make paid API calls. Quotes older than 4½ hours are marked stale. Four-hour updates are suitable for screening; check the current line and availability before acting.
